The National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh of The People's Democratic Party, PDP, yesterday, described the All Progressives Congress, APC, as a party of internal contradictions, saying the recent treatment of a widow in Benin by Governor Adams Oshiomhole shows the party to be really anti-people.
Governor Oshiohmole, who was captured on Youtube video acting mindless and, in the pick of the drama, he told a poor widow to "go and die" even when she was on her kneels begging for mercy, drew the attention of Olisa Metul as he liking Oshiohmole and APC to "the Pharaoh Khufu of the 4th dynasty Egypt..., where the sorrowful tears of a downtrodden widow, prostrate at the feet of the governor, pleading for leniency, could neither provoke emotion, leniency nor restraint. "Rather she got a piercing arrow of a wicked utterance unbecoming of an elected public officer."
He further said that APC which Oshiohmole belongs, has finally unveiled itself and its "inherent contradictions in the messianic pretenses of the APC against its lead role in the cascading anti-people actions and utterances.
"This minute, APC evangelises Nigerians on fine points of good governance and nationalism, claiming they are the ones sent, while the next minute the same APC leaders are caught with sharp sword on the soul of the nation.
"The actual meaning of APC is 'Anti Peoples Congress' and this party's main ideology is the dehumanisation of Nigerians.
