Man loses seven children to flood In Jos

In one fell swoop, Abdulramid Useni, a resident of Gangere in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State,  lost seven children to the flood on Sunday

“My world is finished. Where do I start from?” he cried
According to him the incident took place while they were sleeping.
“All of us were sleeping. I, my wife and our 12 children were sleeping in the house when all of a sudden, there was this sudden surge of flood which took over our house. Before we could do anything, the house collapsed and the flood swept all of us away, including the house.
“I was able to survive because I clung to a pole. It was a matter of life and death as I was there until the flood subsided.”
He said his wife and five children survived and are taking shelter in one of the displaced people’s camps in Rikkos.Meanwhile, Six of the dead bodies  of his children have been recovered, and one is yet to be located. 
Over 38 people have been reported dead in the flood disaster.

"In recent times there has been so much disaster in the land of Nigeria, especially Plateau State. Few days ago, tribal and religion war claimed over 200 lives in Plateau State. A serving senator was killed.  In the whole of Nigeria, Plateau State seem the most troubled area due to authority high handedness in handily the affairs of the people. One only hope that things will change for the better." An ex- resident of Jos said
