THREE men were arrested by the police of the Ekiti State police command in Ado-Ekiti, in connection with robbing and raping of a 14-year-old girl in the state.
The incident took place at Samson Street, Odo Ado, Ado-Ekiti Local Government Area of the state, where the victim and her family resides.
The story had it that five armed gang stormed the home of the victim on Thursday, robbed them of valuables and abducted the primary school pupil. The robbers took girl to a nearby primary school in the area, raped her in succession and abandoned her at the scene.
Luck however ran out them when men of the state police command arrested three of the suspects with two of the gang members still at large.
Three of the suspects, Sunday Johnson,17 years old and mechanic, hailed from Kogi State, Oladipupo Kayode, 24 commercial motorcyclist and musician and Jimoh Olorunsola,a bricklayer, were natives of Omuo-Ekiti.
They were said to have confessed to the police during interrogation that they committed the crime.
The leader of the gang one Seye is still at large.
