Frank Obi, Prison Warder, Jailed 10 Years For Selling Prohibited Drugs In Kirikiri Prison


Frank Obi, a prison warder has been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment, for drug trafficking.
The judge, Justice Ibrahim Buba of a Federal High Court Lagos, yesterday convicted Obi, based on his guilty plea to a one-count charge of supplying restricted narcotics to inmates at the Kirikiri maximum prisons, Lagos.

Justice Buba in his judgment, berated Frank Obi as shame to lawful authorities, and accordingly, sentenced him.
”Following the guilty plea entered by the accused, he is hereby convicted as charged, and accordingly, sentenced to 10 years imprisonment, without option of fine” he said.
He added that the sentence shall take effect from May 6, when the convict was arrested, while the convict is to be jailed at the Ikoyi Prisons.
