The sentence was handed down by Chief Magistrate A. O. Awogboro of Tinubu Magistrates' Court, Lagos, when she observed that the convict had earlier been charged to her court on similar offence, though she answered different name then.
Ene Emmanuel, is a 21- year-old prostitute and was arrested around 2am on the 8th of November at Victoria Island.
The Prosecutor, Chidi
Okoye,told court that
"On the previous arraignment, the accused had presented
herself as 'Josephine Ogu' which was a false name," (Punch Newspaper)
So she is to enjoy her Christmas in jail.
