ASP Olusoji Killed by a Police Corporal In the Police Station


Olusoji, Assistant Superintendent of Police, serving in Yobe State, was shot dead by one Andrew Bitus.  corporal 
ASP Olusoji  was the Administration Officer at Gashua Police Division, where he was killed


information reaching is that Corporal  Bitus was dating one elderly woman and, they had a quarrel. Bitus wanted the elderly woman to refund all the money he spent on her, when she refused, he arrested the woman but,  the Divisional Police Officer intervened, asked Bitus  to seek civil action
when the DPO was not around, Bitus again arrested the woman wherein the deceased  told other policemen at the station to register a case against the corporal for harassing the woman
The corporal became infuriated, brought out his rifle and shot the deceased many times.
 ASP Olusoji was rushed to the General Hospital, Gashua,where the doctors battled unsuccessfully to save his life
The Corporal  has been dismissed and was being detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Damaturu.
The unidentified woman, who was being harassed by the corporal, had also been arrested.
