One Mrs. Victor, living at Sabo Ilaje are of Lagos state has been arrested by the Lagos State Police command for allegedly selling a two-month-old baby for N30,000
Police sources at the State Criminal Investigation Department where the suspect is currently being detained, told newsmen they received a complaint that the suspect was engaged in child trafficking. When she was arrested, she confessed to have sold a two month-old baby for N30,000. She is yet to state the name of the buyer nor give us her contact. She still insists she did not know the person.
