The Supreme Court, on the 14th day of April 2014, voided the Igbo customary law, which denies daughters inheriting their fathers’ estate. The Supreme Court said it was discriminatory and in conflict with the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Twin blasts at a packed bus station in Nigeria’s capital killed “dozens of people” on Monday, a spokesman for the state-run emergency services said.

Senate President, David Mark, Confesses The Bad Things He Did With Admiral Mike Akhigbe
Former Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Mike Okhai Akhigbe was a complete gentleman. When he was in Law School in 1999/2000, one could hardly tell he was a one time number two man in Nigeria. He was quiet, humble to a fault while in law school.
