Pastor Chibuike Israel Arraigned For Having Unlawful Sex Of A 9 Months Pregnant Woman

Chibuike Israel,a 28 year–old pastor, was arraigned yesterday before an Ejigbo Magistrate's Court in Lagos,for allegedly having unlawful carnal knowledge and stealing the sum of N250.

The accused, who resides at the Ijegun area of Lagos, is facing three-count charge of sexual assault, stealing and obtaining by false pretences.

Nuru Owosere Said, "I am Not A Thief, I Only Steal Rams"

Nuru Owosere, a 27-year-old man has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly stealing a ram in Mile 12 area of the state.
The suspect who confessed to the crime denied knowing that stealing of lives stock was a crime. He said he started stealing goat and other animals from his father without reprimand. So, he assumed it was a normal way of life.

A gang of male and female robbers have been smashed and the suspects arraigned in court. One of the armed robbers is a 20-year-old woman, Alice Ogana, and two others-Sunday Lukpata and Friday Ulakon were ordered to be remanded in Ikoyi Prison by a magistrate of a Ebute Meta Magistrate Court, Lagos
The robbers are facing a four counts charge of armed robbery and assault.

NSCDC Destroyed 7 Illegal Refineries And Burnt 15 Trcuks In Edo State


Mr Chike Ikpeawonwu, the Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Edo Command has  disclosed that seven illegal refineries were destroyed in Edo State between January and November 2013,
 Three of the refineries were destroyed in Iluoke and three in Agbede, both in Etsako West Local Government Area while one was destroyed at Abudu, in Orhionwon Local Government Area.

According to Police authorities, an eight-man robbery gang, Ife Olubaba, Saheed Wasiu, Segun Idowu, Wasiu Rafiu, Odelade Kabiru, Waliu Sonni, Taiwo Obafunsho and Taiye Agege said they killed policemen simply to snatch their rifles.

Mr. Segun Okeseara Arraigned For Assaulting A Neighbour With Iron Bucket Over A Sachet Of Pure Water

One Mr Segun Okeseara, 46 years old, of No.3, Olatunde Adegbesan St., Alapere, Ketu, Lagos, has been charged to court for allegedly assaulting his neighbours with an aluminium bucket over alleged theft of his sachets of pure water. He has been charged to Isheri Magistrates' Court for assault.
On arraignment, he pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The presiding magistrate granted him bail in the sum of N100,000.00
The case is adjourned for hearing.

UK Government Set To Repatriate 267 Nigerian Prisoners



UK Government has said that it intend to send some Nigerian Prisoners UK back to Nigerian Prisons: Former Delta State Governor, James Ibori and about 267 Nigerians serving in various prisons across the UnitedKingdom may be deported to Nigeria to complete their sentences under the UK’s new prisoner transfer agreement, which is currently being discussed.

How Operation Manager Arranged To Rob Own Bank

 
AN Operations Manager with a first generation bank in Agbor, Delta State has been arrested by the police for allegedly conniving with an armed robbery gang that raided the bank, weekend.
The gang had in a commando style operation, succeeded in carting away millions of naira in both local and foreign currencies on Friday, while some bank customers and passers-by were wounded in the process.
