Three Students Of Kwara State College Of Health & Technology Arrested For Raping a Girl into Unconsciousness


Men of the state police command on February 15th arrested three of six students of Kwara State College of Health and Technology, Offa, who allegedly raped their female colleague in the institution to a state of unconsciousness.

How Mr James Dantay, 42-Year-Old Man, A School Head, Raped His Nine Years Old Pupil


Mr James Dantay, 42-year-old man,  and an assistant headmaster of Jibril Aminu Primary School, Bauchi has been arrested by Bauchi State Police command for allegedly raping a nine-year-old pupil of  the school.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP, Haruna Mohammed,has confirmed the arrest and investigation of the matter.

How Student Attacked, A Teacher, Mr. Olamoyegun, With Cutlass In Osogbo

There was pandemonium at the Osogbo Grammar School, Osun State, when Mr. Olamoyegun, a teacher in the said school was attacked from behind with a cutlass by a student of Technical College in the town,whom some say belongs to a cult group.
The student was said to have sneaked behind the teacher and gave him a deep cut on the head with a cutlass on Thursday.

Alhaji Ganiyu Kolawole, A 71-year old,serial rapist,has been arrested by men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC in Akure, the Ondo State capital, for allegedly raping a seven-year-old primary one pupil.

7 school children on Thursday lost their lives and Fifteen other school children also sustained various degrees of injuries when a truck driver at Ogbor Hill area of Aba, Abia state, lost control and rammed into a classroom of Glorious International Academy located on 42 Opobo road, Aba., Abia State

Stowaway Boy Gets Scholarship


The Air Afrik 15 year-old 'stowaway' boy , Daniel Oikhena has been awarded scholarship by  De Raufs’ Volunteer Group, a group of supporters of Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola.

The Director-General of the group, Amitolu Shittu, in a statement on Wednesday, said the scholarship was offered to the stowaway to enable the boy to achieve his target of travelling through the air.

2013 UTME Realesed , Ten Candidate Scored 300 Marks and Above

Candidates writing the UTME at the University of Abuja, Saturday.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the 2013 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.
The board, however, withheld 12,110 results for possible disciplinary action.
The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde, announced this at a news conference on the release of the results in Bwari, FCT, on Friday.

Nollywood Star, RMD, Wanted by EFCC For Stealing

According to Daily Times Newspaper, The Commissioner of culture and tourism Delta State, Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)  over embezzlement of N50 million. Philo Nkem Ajufo, the acting General Manager of Delta State Tourism Board, has been detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja for conniving with RMD to steal N50 million from the coffer of Delta State Ministry of Tourism .
Mofe Damijo was a known Nollywood movie star before he joined the government of Dr. Uduagha of Delta State

Lagos Taxi Drivers: 80 Percent Hypertensive- FRSC

 
PASSENGERS travelling through the Ojota Motor Park in Lagos State may have cause to fret, if the results of the test conducted by men of the Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC), on drivers at the park is anything to go by, as 80 per cent of the 54 drivers that went through the commission’s blood pressure and sugar level tests were found to be hypertensive.

Unconfirmed Report Says One Little Girl Survived Sandy Hook Shooting For Playing Dead

Only one child made it out alive of a first-grade classroom at Sandy Hook Elementary School last week — by fooling the gunman into thinking she was dead, the family's pastor says.

The little girl, who is 6½ years old but hasn't otherwise been identified, "ran out of the school building covered in blood from head to toe, and the first words she said to her mom when she got outside was, 'Mommy, I'm OK, but all of my friends are dead,'" the Rev. Jim Solomon, pastor of New Hope Community Church in Newtown, Conn., told ABC News in a report that aired Sunday.

Mobilephone radiation exposure during pregnancy impacts fetal brain development and may cause hyperactivity, researchers say.

Dr. Hugh Taylor, a medical professor and chief of Yale’s Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, co-authored a recent study to probe the impact of mobilephone exposure on pregnancies.

Lagos State Commissioner of Police Drove PUNCH Reporters Out Of Police Station

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Umar Manko, on Tuesday ordered a correspondent of The PUNCH, Kunle Falayi, out of the premises of the police command headquarters, Ikeja.
Manko said a story published on Tuesday titled, ‘Guard shot by policemen in critical condition’ was an attack on the integrity of the police.
